Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Sock Hop

OVERVIEW:
Themed events always give us an excuse to have fun and be creative. When the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center enlisted the production services of Event Resources, we were happy to help design and create custom signage, as well as provide staging, lighting, and sound for the event. This is another great example of turning an untraditional venue into a special event site. This event took place at the gymnasium of the Learning Corridor in Hartford. Certainly, the gym was a great venue for a sock hop, but many production elements were still needed to make the night a success. That night, attendees came to raise money for the Center, and to listen to sounds of the 1950’s and 60’s. Guests arrived in festive outfits and danced the night away!
