Governor Rell’s Inauguration

OVERVIEW:
Governor Rowland’s resignation created a host of challenges for the people of Connecticut – and Event Resources too. The production of Governor Rell’s inaugural came of course, with very little notice. In a matter of days, Event Resources was successful in planning all of the production logistics of Governor Rell’s Inaugural Ceremony, which included building Governor Rell’s stage off the steps to the Capitol Building, and a large press riser for an unobstructed view for throngs of local and national electronic press. Both the audience’s and the dignitaries’ chairs were provided by Event Resources, as well as the executive cherry lectern. In addition, we enlisted the help of subcontracted sound and lighting companies due to the scope and timing of the event. We knew however, that we were ultimately responsible for the success of Governor Rell’s first public appearance as Governor of the State of Connecticut. We’re very proud to have planned and executed an event of this magnitude within the short timeframe we were given.
