OVERVIEW:
Upon being elected to his second term as Governor of Connecticut, Governor Rowland’s staff enlisted the production services of Event Resources for the festivities of his election night. The affair took place in the ball room of Hartford’s Hilton Hotel – and required almost every production element Event Resources has to offer – staging, sound support, theatrical lighting, pipe and drape, a lectern, and the means to make an audio recording directly from our sound system. We also constructed a press riser, so that the TV press and photographers’ videography wasn’t obstructed by the full house that night. After the newly re-elected Governor addressed the crowd, Eight to the Bar played lively swing music to celebrate the occasion.
