OVERVIEW:
It’s not every day that Event Resources is invited to participate in the design aspect of a largely visual event. We welcome the opportunity, as it gives us a chance to be creative. The Miss Teen USA came to us with one issue in mind – their venue was smaller than they would have liked, yet their stage and backstage areas needed to be as functional as they would be in a larger space. To help assist in this issue, ERI used strategically placed pipe and drape to create a backstage area, and designed both the color and style of the drapery, but also custom built the stage to complement the drape set-up. The pageant was thrilled that they were able to optimize their performance space in order to alleviate the feeling of being cramped in the audience.
