Miracles at University of Hartford

OVERVIEW:
Miracles, St. Francis Hospital’s annual fundraiser and gala, was held at the University of Hartford’s field house for over 15 years. As the event is a fancy black-tie affair, it is absolutely crucial that guests do not feel as though they are standing near bleachers, and on a basketball court. The process starts with extremely long runs of black drapery to cover the walls, and small accent pieces to cover the scoreboards and school banners. Next, temporary flooring is installed, and a base is created for the rest of the production elements. In addition to a large stage and theatrical lighting – which you can see is hung on the truss structure – sound support is very important. The last thing one wants for their guests is the sound system to resemble that of a sporting event. In addition, we use our art display panels to present works by local artists, to be auctioned off at the event. Miracles has been one of Event Resources’ longest standing events, and we are proud to help it grow and transform each year.
