EVENT:
Groundbreaking
CLIENT:
Mark Twain House
OVERVIEW:
When the Mark Twain House wanted to inform
the public of their plan to create a new visitor center
to accomodate the museum and theater, they hosted
a large press event where the groundbreaking ceremony
was performed. Because the event took place in the
brisk autumn weather, ERI oversaw the installation
of some tenting that allowed guests to walk into the
tent straight from the building. For the ceremony
itself, Event Resources provided a stage, sound and
lighting support, chairs for both the audience and
speakers, and an executive cherry lectern. We also
hung the sign that depicted the Mark Twain House upon
the wing’s completion, in front of which the
groundbreaking took place.
