OVERVIEW:
In 2006, the MetroHartford Alliance, an entity that promotes and facilitates economic growth in the area, launched its newest organization – Hartford Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs – H.Y.P.E. The launch had a wonderfully successful attendance of almost 500, and it took place in downtown Hartford’s own 960 Main St. In addition to providing many tables and chairs for 960’s entranceway, ERI also laid down royal blue carpeting. Some want the red carpet treatment, but this group chose the blue carpet treatment to match the color in their new logo. Event Resources also hug a stretch projection screen overhead for the group to show a PowerPoint show throughout the evening. The suspended screen allowed projection to be seen without taking up any floor space. Perhaps the most innovative and eye-catching element Event Resources provided for H.Y.P.E.’s Premiere was the glowbars – custom built structures that can be used as tables or bars – with glowing lights inside. When the house lights were dimmed for the event, the glowbars transformed the event into a chic, trendy, young professional affair.
