Hartford 21 Topping Off Ceremony

OVERVIEW:
This type of ceremony celebrates the last piece of structural support being installed into a new building. For Hartford 21, everyone involved in the building’s construction and the public was given the opportunity to sign the last beam before it was hoisted into the air and brought up 30 plus stories. Governor Rell, Mayor Perez, and State Attorney General Blumenthal were all present for the event. But more importantly, the construction workers who made this project a reality were honored for their hard work. ERI, whose services were engaged by Mary Coursey of Coursey & Company, a public relations firm, supplied sound support, stanchions, chairs, and signage for this unique and memorable ceremony.
