OVERVIEW:
Making Strides is by far the American Cancer Society’s largest community fundraising event in the Greater Hartford area. It takes place each fall in Hartford’s own scenic Bushnell Park, under the Soldiers and Sailor Arch. Making Strides includes live music, food, survivor testimonials, and a number of tents devoted to cancer-related healthcare issues. It’s a powerful event to attend, and Event Resources is honored to be a part of it. In addition to tents and stage work, ERI also helps manage the electric distribution for each tent, and coordinates the event needs with the Hartford Parks and Recreation Department, and all the cityservices involved with an event of this size.
