Food Share of Greater Hartford

OVERVIEW:
At Event Resources, we absolutely love it when our services go to help promote a business or idea that gives back to the community in which we all live. In 2006, Food Share, a community food bank that serves Hartford and Tolland Counties, opened their new warehouse and offices in Bloomfield. To reflect what Food Share does, their staff designed a ribbon-cutting ceremony that joined 6 baskets of food. After the ribbons were cut, a press conference was held where local media and the public could learn about Food Share’s mission, and how to contribute. This event required a small stage, sound support, a lectern, and last but not least, our café tables with linen. We were happy to have provided these services while staying within Food Share’s budgetary constraints – this is a consideration we extend to all our non-profit clients.
