OVERVIEW:
This fashion show in Braintree’s South Shore Mall made a very creative use of its U-shaped runway’s negative space. While the models walked the runway, two break-dancers within the yellow space entertained the audience, and complemented the model’s movement. All of this was to the music of DJ that spun directly behind the dancers. We slightly elevated and isolated his space, so that guests could see all three parties and the dancers movements did not affect the DJ equipment. Event Resources built the stage outside Filene’s entrance to the mall, and defined the event’s space with our red velvet stanchions. The stage’s backdrop and entrance/exit points, dressing room and sound were also designed and constructed by Event Resources.
