OVERVIEW:
This annual fundraiser for the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center raises more money each summer – and we’re happy to be a part of it. Held on the grounds of the Capitol Building, Ferrari owners are invited to participate in a car show. On top of the amazing cars at this event, there is always music to entertain and the arrival of the cars from the parade that carries children from the Medical Center through the streets of Hartford in a Ferrari. The challenge for Event Resources in this event lies in the need for the sound of the announcer and the band to carry 180 degrees around the Capitol Building. It doesn’t sound that challenging if money was no object, but this is a fundraiser for the kids after all, and we do our best to work on as small of a budget as possible to leave as much for the Children’s Medical Center as we can. ERI also supplies the band stage for this event.
