OVERVIEW:
Every winter on the same day, commemorating the last day the Hartford Whaler’s played in Hartford, the Whaler’s most loyal fans assemble to host a rally in an effort to bring the Whalers back to Hartford. They invite former players, management and fellow fans to speak, and encourage guests to bring brightly colored signs, and of course, wear their Whalers gear! In 2006, the event took place in the Hartford 21 Center Court. We constructed a stage, and draped Whalers colors behind it. In addition to the sound support we provided for the Fanniversary’s various speakers, we also supplied a lectern and chairs for the stage, as well as a press riser.
