EVENT:
One Book Event
CLIENT:
Hartford Public Library
OVERVIEW:
While the Hartford Library was under
construction, their staff was left with almost no
space in which to host community events – a
huge hurdle for a non-profit entity that survives
on community involvement. To address this issue, Event
Resources was engaged to help the library utilize
the only space in which they might host their One
Book event: a multi-story atrium. In order to make
the unorthodox space useable, Event Resources installed
sound support on all three levels, in addition to
projection screens for the upper level– to ensure
that everyone, no matter their location, could see
and hear the presentation on the bottom level. Because
this particular atrium is broken up by a series of
large staircases, perfect sound support was key. At
Event Resources, we embrace these types of events
that force us to work in unconventional spaces –
it certainly keeps us on our toes!
