OVERVIEW:
Every July, the birthday of one of Connecticut’s most famous and influential residents – Harriet Beecher Stowe – is celebrated at her homestead in Hartford. A variety of activities commemorate her life and work – from live music and storytelling to visual art installations and children’s activities. Event Resources provides overall event production support, including day-of, on-site management, coordination of tents and site layout, staging and sound support for the line-up of musical performers, and art display panels for viewing the paintings and drawings of local artists. The crowd at the HBS Center was even honored with a visit from old friends Harriet Beecher Stowe and Mark Twain!
