OVERVIEW:
This particular fashion show best demonstrated our resourcefulness in planning an event in an unorthodox space. Here, the client wished to erect a runway but they wanted to place it directly on top of the mall’s circular landscaped seating area! ERI surveyed the site, and used computer drafting to design a structure that would not only meet the fashion shows needs, but also remain as safe and sturdy as a traditional stage. The finished product was a unique, eye-catching runway that accommodated several models at once, and catered to a large, circularly seated audience. Since the fashion show took place on top of existing structure minus the trees, it was important to utilize the space within the overall stage, sound, light and event design. And, its location in the center of the mall made the fashion show visible to the second story!
