OVERVIEW:
At Event Resources, we love to collaborate with the Hartford Advocate on a number of events each year. Their Annual Grand Band Slam is no exception. We work with the staff at the Advocate to produce this annual showcase of Hartford’s best local talent. Advocate readers vote for their favorite local bands and the winners perform at the Annual Grand Band Slam – which formerly took place in the street of the entertainment districy, and now takes place in Bushnell Park. The Advocate enlists the help of Event Resources to provide total event management – which includes coordinating staging, sound, lighting, band equipment, temporary power, event fencing, on-site management and coordination with Hartford’s city services. . Band Slam is one of our most high-energy events – what a great way to connect to the local music scene!
