OVERVIEW:
Some of the most challenging fashion shows are the ones that take place within the store that sponsors it. While the store is thrilled to have the show’s promotional value , it also creates the challenge of creating a fashion show space within a cramped, retail setting. Sound, light, stage and seating placements all must be considered with the normal flow of business for the day. This wide, U-shaped runway fit into the store’s space better than a traditional T-shaped one. And, placing two rows of chairs within the runway’s negative space not only gave a hand full of lucky guests the best view of the show, it also made a resourceful application of the unused space.
